I am with 4 Sale Realty Advantage in Geneva for one reason... for a small real estate company they have the best long term real estate track record in the area. They have combined results of participating in over 3,000 real estate transactions over a 25 year history! That kind of success is rare in this business. I am honored to be part of the team.
A little bit about myself and family: I was born and raised in Geneva (Geneva High School Class of 1979). My father was a St. Charles boy and my mom a Geneva girl (with their families living in the respective towns). My great grandparents were from Batavia...so we have the bases covered living in the community.
My grandfather, Stanley Matson, started Matson Jewelers in the 1930s in the Baker Hotel in downtown Saint Charles. My father carried on in his father's shoes by working for my grandfather and then starting his own version of Matson Jewelers on 3rd Street in downtown Geneva in 1985!
I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin @ Madison with a B.A. in Communications in 1983. I have personally bought and sold numerous properties over a 27 year time frame. I have been a general contractor in real estate having built a handful of homes in the Tri-Cites with an average of 3,000 feet plus per home.
My knowledge of residential real estate in the community is extensive.
The Tri-Cites is one of the most sought areas to live in in the western suburbs of Chicago. The Fox River ties Saint Charles, Geneva and Batavia together. The Fox River makes for a great relaxing "feel" to the community. The bike/walking path that runs through the community is a huge attraction...along with the many parks on and around the river. And to give you an idea of literally how close the communities are...downtown St. Charles is 2 miles from downtown Geneva, and downtown Geneva is 3 miles from downtown Batavia.
I am here to serve you. So whether you are looking to buy a home here or are thinking of selling, I can assist you from start to finish.
